Birthday Parties, 4th of July, Summer Fun!

So far our July has been busy with birthday parties, Bible School, and hot, hot, dry days!!!!! I have been having so much fun with my iPod!  I download new apps almost every day! (Gosh,  Mommy still won't give me her Apple password...I don't understand why!!!!:)  Mason and I have kept Mommy and Daddy very busy, and we are so excited for our upcoming vacation!!!

4th of July was a great day!  We had a neighborhood parade (so hot outside!) and dinner out.

Mommy took us to the zoo on one of the hot days!  We did our usual route....carousel, train ride, and dippin' dots!!!

Summertime!!!

We have been having a busy, fun-filled summer lately!

After preschool ended, I went to Safety City for 2 weeks!  Then we visited Grandma and Grandpa in Athens for a couple days.  Then I had Baking & Cooking Camp this week!!!!  Visit our shutterfly site for all the pics....Mommy will be posting a few on here, but we know we are a little behind.

I am 5!!!!

We started the day with chocolate donuts in the donut maker and a candle in mine! Then daddy and mommy surprised me with a trip to the apple store to get me an iPod! They told me that daddy had to go into to look at something for his iPad, then when the salesperson asked what we were shopping for, they told her that we would be getting an iPod...for ME!!!!!  I picked a white one.  The lady and I set it up, then we downloaded a game and I was set to go!  I downloaded an app where I can text and even use my iPod as a phone!!  I have been texting Grandpa!! Aunt Sarah got me a sparkly cover that makes it look so fabulous!!!

 I can't believe I am 5!!!

My 5th Birthday Party!

I had a fabulous Angry Birds party with my friends! The party was at Magic Mountain, so we didn't have to decorate the room or anything.  But we had a cake and some favors that tied in with the theme!

Here are some pics of our goody bag treats and my cake.

Mommy and Grandma made these Freeze Pop holders for the goody bags with felt & shelf liners (green ones) and pink shelf liners.  We added names with a label maker and stuck on some stickers for decoration!

And now for the Angry Bird slingshots....

We used red pom poms, goggly eyes, fabric paint (eyebrows and beak) and red card stock (feather on top).  This was fun and very easy!

We got the slingshots from Dollar Tree!

Here are the goody bags all ready to go!  Mommy used this website for the Angry Bird "flags" then used Photoshop to add the kids' names.

A beautiful spring day!

Today we went to Aunt Sarah's house for a visit! We loved Reesie's pink Escalade!!!
